**Job Summary**
The position supports the RBC CDN based business, through CRE’s three core portfolio management objectives of (1) Enabling the Business, (2) Minimizing Costs, and (3) Mitigating Risks across the CDN Portfolio. This role is responsible for the direct oversight and management of partners and suppliers to ensure operations and program success and to ensure key controls are in place to manage risk for the Canadian Retail network. This role will serve as the key interface between business unit leads, Corporate Real Estate (CRE) including Centres of Excellence and service partners to ensure business requirements are anticipated and represented in the development of regional strategies, network operations and the execution of key programs. Serves as the single point of escalation contact and trusted business partner within the region to ensure alignment of real estate portfolio to the provision of a positive experience for RbC employees and clients. **What is the opportunity?**
As part of the Integrated Program Delivery (IPD) team, the Director, Integrated Program Delivery (IPD) Canada Retail will report to the Senior Director, Canada Retail. In this role you will lead and manage the end-to-end process of planning, developing and delivering initiatives across all Canada Retail locations (P&CB retail branch, commercial centres, private banking centres).

This role will serve as the key interface between business unit leads, Corporate Real Estate (CRE) including Centres of Excellence and service partners to ensure business requirements are anticipated and represented in the development of regional strategies, network operations and the execution of key programs.
**What will you do?**
- Own the relationships with all major business lines, ensuring full understanding of their Workplace needs. Drive plans to proactively address those needs, consistently improving the quality of service delivery with regards to Workplace Services & Operations
- Act as the principal point of liaison in the event of executive escalations relative to premises operations
- Oversee and be accountable for the delivery of all Canada Retail programs (including branch electrification, signage replacement) in region including integration of design standards consistent with global operating model and in collaboration with global CRE COE’s. Establish and monitor quantitative standards of performance, and provide timely project, program executive summaries, as well as appropriate internal management reporting, metrics and key information.
- Leverage the Service Partner and other industry contacts and relationships to bring best-in-class, up to date Facility Management solutions which address the emerging needs of RBC’s business globally.
- Establish and oversee an effective asset management strategy which allows CRE to advise business lines on lifecycle planning.
- Oversee capital and operational budget forecasts and challenge, validate and control new engagements against budget and policies for Canada Retail Programs
- Provide governance oversight and reporting to ensure all areas of CRE comply with internal policies and programs and external regulatory and legislative obligations in order to reduce risk, provide safe environments for our employees and clients and comply with appropriate laws
- Deliver CRE Savings targets from the FM service line through innovative procurement strategies and operational efficiencies.
- Identify key strategic Workplace initiatives to transform client experience and productivity.
- Ensure RBC premises are managed safely in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Review and maintain Canadian portfolio so as to minimize risk exposure to RBC
- Provide governance, management oversight and reporting in relation to delivery of initiatives
- Ensure key controls for the Canadian Retail network met on time and in alignment with internal and external regulatory requirements.

- Minimum 4-7 of real estate experience with a strong understanding of Facilities Operations & Project Management
- Portfolio / Client Relationship Mgmt. experience
- Strong cost control, client focus, responsiveness to business goals and strategic business acumen
