At Vohora LLP, we are a busy Chartered Professional Accounting firm providing accounting, tax, audit, and assurance services. Our team of professionals is committed to delivering exceptional client service with a focus on integrity, excellence, and continuous professional development. We are currently seeking an experienced HR Manager/Senior Manager to support our expanding team and enhance our internal operations.
**Job Summary**
The HR Manager/Senior Manager will lead all HR functions within the firm, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and compensation. This position is a full time, in-office role at our South Surrey location and will require occasional travel to our other offices across the province.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the firm's goals and culture.
- Lead, coach, and develop the HR team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
- Manage employee relations.
- Maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with ESA and Human Rights laws.
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems and goal-setting processes.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for accounting professionals, administrative staff, and seasonal hires.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure smooth integration for new hires.
- Implementation of an HRIS.
- Partner with leadership to support employee development, training, and succession planning.
- Act as a trusted advisor to partners and staff on HR-related matters.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of HR experience, preferably in Accounting or Legal Firms
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- CHRP preferred.
