Hello We are Nostalgia Games Cafe, a board game cafe in Burlington and we are currently recruiting people to join our team

As a Bakery Assistant you will support the baking operations of our cafe, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality baked goods and exceptional service.
- Assist in the preparation and baking of various bakery items, including cakes, cookies, and more.
- Prepare finished products for display and sale, ensuring they are presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking areas to adhere to food safety regulations.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and quality.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering any questions they may have about our products.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food industry or a kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices is essential to maintain a safe working environment.
- Familiarity with baking techniques and cake decorating is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
- A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn more about the baking process will be highly valued.
- Willing to grow with the business and contribute ideas and improvements to processes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
