**Job Summary**

**Duties**

- Springboard off of online instructional materials that align with curriculum standards.
- Adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning.
- Foster a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere that encourages student participation.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding academic progress and areas for improvement.
- Utilize various teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is required
- Strong communication skills are essential for effectively conveying concepts and engaging students.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Classroom experience is a plus, as it demonstrates familiarity with educational environments and practices.
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically is crucial for this role.
- Comfortable supporting students up to a grade 10 level.
- Bachelor's Degree required

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.5 per week
