Truck Driver

**Duties**:

- Transport goods and materials over long distances, ensuring safe and timely delivery
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, checking for any mechanical issues or damage
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays

**Experience**:

- Valid Class 1 License
- Minimum 6 month verifiable Class 1 experience **required**
- Safe driving background - verified via driver’s abstract
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of freight transportation regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent driving skills, with a clean driving record
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps to ensure efficient route planning
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

- Class 1 Licence (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
