**Qualifications**:
**A bachelor's degree in an appropriate specialty, notably**:
Project Management

Organizational Development

Education

AND

Have good knowledge of office automation.

**Other Requirements**:
Fluent in both French and English, written and oral

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

Strong interpersonal skills and able to interact positively with a varied clientele

Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously

Strong analytic abilities

Excellent attention to detail

Knowledge of LMS systems an asset

Knowledge of RAC an asset

**Salary scale as per the SPPOQA’ Collective Agreement**:
$27.08 - $47.86 per hour

Nature of the work

The position of project development officer encompasses, in particular, responsibility for research, analysis and development of activities based on a particular theme, such as community relations, prevention of violence and substance abuse, analysis of business training needs, organizational development, development of technological support and review of administrative procedures. The project development officer ensures the planning, coordination and delivery of an action plan related to a theme calling on the internal and external resources of the school board.

Characteristic functions

The project development officer participates in the implementation and update of the school board’s strategic plan on a theme for which he or she is responsible; where applicable, he or she becomes familiar with various programs concerning the project to which he or she is assigned, assesses their pertinence, informs those involved of them and simplifies their implementation. He or she analyzes the needs of the community, identifies available resources within and outside the network, consults resources, prepares an action plan, informs management staff of services and educational institutions, and formulates recommendations.

Daily Tasks/Dossiers

Develop and implement service offerings pertaining to the Lester B. Pearson Testing Centre

Organize and administer standardized testing such as GED, GDT & TENS

Organize logistics surrounding the administration of the DEFL/DALF/TEFAQ exams.

Liaison with the French Embassy regarding DELF/DALF/TEFAQ

Develop and organize new BSG workshops and trainings (content, schedules, trainers, registrations, promotion)

Collaborate with marketing to develop strategies to promote various workshops, trainings, and projects

Liaison with internal and external partners to develop, organize, and ensure smooth running of various projects
