This position ensures that the team is aware of the production timelines, provides status updates throughout the day and troubleshoots bottlenecks on the line. **Responsibilities**: - Set and follow Team Lead Standard Work daily - Complete Start-Up Checks - Assess manpower and break coverage continually with Value Stream Supervisors and other Team Leads - Conduct daily huddles with team to inform on progress and demands - Regularly update cell board and dash boards and review operator efficiencies - Utilize KPI metrics to compare actuals and to foster continuous improvement - Support operators with material needs, upcoming jobs and continuous coaching - Administer and support cross training initiatives - Adhere to Cam Tran safety policies and procedures - Perform other duties as assigned **Qualifications**: - Experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment - Knowledge of the product and plant operations - Demonstrated experience and knowledge in lean manufacturing systems, Production Control and Quality System **Skills**: - Ability to communicate effectively with others - Well organized and able to make independent judgments - Able to work in a team environment **Measures of Performance**: - Line output - OTIF - Safety - Observations, Near Misses - Quality - FTQ -percentage of units built correctly the first time - Efficiency - Evaluates the amount of labor required to build a standard unit and shows change over time. **Working Conditions**: - 12 hour shifts with potential for overtime. - Tasks are repetitive. - Work is conducted in an indoor manufacturing environment around various pieces of equipment. - Environment can be hot during summer months. - Heaving lifting is required occasionally.
