**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Development_
- Researching and developing new relationships and contacts
- Exploring new and sustained sources of revenue generation
- Research and prepare grant submissions and other corporate funding proposals for Gallery programs and projects
- Responsible for researching new funding sources and staying up to date with best practices for corporate and foundation funding
- Data management of new and ongoing relationships
- Indigenous Ways & Equity_
- Advising and supporting the work of the Department Head
- Development and maintenance of strategic external partnerships with Indigenous Nations and racialized communities
- Overseeing the implementation of the organization’s Equity Action Plan
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Employment experience relevant to the primary responsibilities and two to four years related experience
- Lived experience as an Indigenous and/or racialized person
- If Indigenous, belonging to and claimed by an Indigenous Nation
- Project management experience
- Capacity to engage members of diverse communities and skilled in a variety of consultation techniques, protocols, and strategies
- Experience in writing sponsorships and grant proposals to public and private funding sources

**Asset**
- Raiser's Edge or similar fundraising software knowledge
