Warehouse Worker and Part Time Deliveries

We are a distribution company based in Port Coquitlam BC. We import specialty foods from Spain and Italy and provide distribution for Canadian brands. We are looking for a person who wants to learn and grow with a young company.

This job is for someone that likes variety in their day to day. Daily activities involve picking and packing orders, and performing deliveries to grocery stores in the lower mainland with the company van, 2-3 times per week.

**Role Responsibilities and Duties**
- Handling stock with care to avoid damages
- Order picking of products and preparing shipments
- Be able to lift heavy items (up to 50lbs) as this job entails lifting on a regular basis
- Receiving shipments regularly checking off items against purchase orders and unpacking pallets
- Counting and organizing inventory
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Delivering product around Lower Mainland in a safe and efficient manner
- Provide excellent customer service

**Qualifications/Job Requirements**
- Class 5 driver's license required
- Clean drivers abstract
- Team player who also works independently
- Some experience in a warehouse is an asset (minimum 1-2 years)
- Forklift experience considered an asset (willing to train)
- Ability to communicate effectively in person
- Positive and friendly attitude, respectful and self-motivated
- Ability to read and converse in English
- Post Secondary Students welcome

We are hiring for full time or part time. Hours of work are between 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday.
