**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates for projects using Genius and Bluebeam software.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate project bids.
- Collaborate with fabrication and installation teams to understand project scope and requirements.
- Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and secure favorable terms.
- Review and adjust estimates based on changes in project scope or market conditions.
- Maintain detailed company records of estimates, including calculations, assumptions, and bid documents.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather essential information for accurate estimating.
- Provide support during the bidding process by answering questions from clients and stakeholders.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in structural steel project estimating with a strong understanding of fabrication processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Genius and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with vendors and subcontractors.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost assessments.
- Experience in project management is a plus, enabling effective collaboration across teams.

Pay: $37.00-$46.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
