The Concessions Manager is responsible for ensuring the World Waterpark Food and Beverage quick-service concessions, bars, events and catering services are running smoothly and efficiently while meeting departmental and guest’s needs and maintaining profitability.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Providing leadership and supervision to all concession staff, including supervisors, in the World Waterpark through effective role modeling and coaching techniques.
- Assisting with employee relations, hiring, and training activities for the department.
- Overseeing and developing proper quick-service fast-food preparation techniques, proper liquor service standards and ensuring the top food quality and efficient service times for our guests.
- Assisting with management of the food and beverage component of special events and catering functions for the company including West Edmonton Mall’s Soundwave events to ensure they are carried out to successfully maximize revenues and control all related costs.
- Maintaining effective product inventory controls and reports, establishing proper stock rotation processes and maintaining accurate documentation techniques.
- Dealing with all aspects of food and beverage and related customer service issues, public inquiries, and guest concerns relating to food and beverage operations.
- Other responsibilities as required.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a fast-food, high volume concession service, or licensed restaurant establishment in a staff supervisory and/or management level position.
- Completion of Pro Serve and/or Food Safe or willing to take the required training.
- A sound grasp of food and beverage industry business principals, AGLC regulations, time management techniques, business inventory control, and staff management practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills complemented by strong large-scale team building and motivating abilities with the ability to mentor those new to the workforce.
- A team-working and positive attitude with the ability to have fun in the workplace.

**Terms of Employment**:

- This is a full-time position that requires flexible availability Monday through Sunday, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- This is a salaried position that will depend on experience and qualifications.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
