**THE ROLE**
Our CANEX Labelle Retail store is currently seeking motivated and passionate professionals with experience in sales and customer service to fill the Home and Electronics Sales Associate position for our store in Ottawa East.

If you are an enthusiastic and energetic individual with experience in understanding retail operational concepts such as maintaining store standards, cash handling, and merchandise presentation, this is the opportunity for you

As a Home and Electronics Sales Associate, you provide retail services to a unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and in assisting them, you are helping your community. You assist in the set-up of the electronics, computers, appliances, and furniture departments and provide technical and professional advice on sales and products offered. You assist with ordering stock and ensure that shelves are stocked, faced, and properly signed. You explain and sell extended warranty programs and accessories.

The Home and Electronics Sales Associate may also provide a variety of other retail services, including regular retail services, dry cleaning, lottery services, self-serve gas services, and postal services. You will operate Point of Sales systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

High school diploma or some years of experience in retail

**Experience**

In electronics, computers equipment, furniture and appliances

In selling extended warranty and accessories

In cash handling

In sales and merchandising

**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
Bilingual Essential

Reading: Basic

Writing: Basic
