Talent Acquisition and LMS Specialist

Summary of responsibilities
The Specialist will also be responsible for the hospital’s learning management system. This will involve creating accounts and maintenance, reviewing and completing helpdesk support tickets, setting up classroom and online courses, creating user programs for mandatory training and coordinating system upgrades, updating existing courses and maintaining a projects schedule.
**SUMMARY OF DUTIES**:
**Recruiting**:
- Works closely with hiring managers and creates internal and external job postings using an applicant tracking system
- Coordinates reference checks using an electronic reference checking tool
- Develops and executes creative and innovative corporate and individual recruitment strategies and campaigns
- Participates in recruitment events to promote Cornwall Community Hospital
- Continue to expand our recruitment needs through networking and social media channels
- Prepares monthly scorecard and reports showing breakdown of new hires
**Learning Management System**:
- Account creation and maintenance
- Setting up classroom and online courses
- Creating and maintaining user programs for mandatory training
- Uploading learning records and course equivalencies to update mandatory course completions
- Generate compliance reports for management, accredited associations etc.
- Maintain an LMS projects schedule, notifying manager of any risks to timelines
- Using helpdesk ticket system to action on all LMS related tickets by troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Prepare bimonthly LMS status report, including statistics for all groups within the hospital
- Review LMS product updates, attend webinars and test new releases on Staging LMS.
- Willingness to research and learn about new LMS functions and development techniques
- Learn how to update existing courses in the LMS and creating new SCORM files
Requirements of the job
- Experience with a full-cycle recruitment process
- College program with emphasis on Human Resources or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience developing talent acquisition campaigns and strategies, including Indeed and other social media vehicles
- Experience working with an applicant tracking system (e.g., NJOYN)
- Experience working with human resources information systems and metrics
- Experience administrating a learning management system (ex. Dual Code, Moodle or other)
- Capable of working in a fast paced and multi-tasking environment
- A high degree of attention to detail
- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of collective agreements and/or working with unions would be asset
- Experience in a healthcare related industry is an asset
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation an asset
