**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of patients.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document patient care activities accurately and report any changes in health status to nursing staff.
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments, ensuring their comfort and safety.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in caregiving or as a nurse aide is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care best practices.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist patients with mobility challenges.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Familiarity with meal preparation tailored to specific dietary requirements is an asset.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
