Hook Line & Sinker is a new restaurant in Haliburton.

We are looking to bring some new energy into town, thriving on its outdoor lifestyle setting.

Whether it's fish and chips, shareables or creative handhelds, paired with craft beers, specialty cocktails or a glass of wine, we offer something for everyone with our carefully selected menu.

Guests are served on our outdoor waterfront patio that flows into our open-concept seating area bringing focus to simplicity through tasty quality product and speed of service.

Individuals who want to join a fast paced team-driven venture in an exciting fun atmosphere this is the job for you, as we bring our dream into the community.

Server Responsibilties:
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Greeting Custumers in a friendly and timely maner
- Educating customers on our menu concept and ingredients we use
- Recording guest orders
- Serve guests responsibly to ensure they are safe
- Providing excellent customer service during their dining experience
- Providing suggestions for food or drink choices to diners
- Cleaning tables and preparing spaces for future diners
- Taking feedback from diners
- Carrying drinks and food from kitchen/bar area to the tables
- Memorizing food and drink menu as well as rotational specials
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of serving experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Smart Serve certification
- Ability to multitask
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Must be able to stand for 8-hour shifts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to move/lift 50lbs

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Haliburton, ON K0M 1S0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
