**Summary**

The Planning Administrator is responsible for supporting the Planning Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating, production activities for the operations in accordance with established guidelines. This role monitors and ensures that daily production plans are followed and updated as needed ensuring fulfillment of planning objectives.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Prepares master plan to establish schedules and lead times to meet shipping dates according to sales orders and forecasts.
- Reviews and updates daily the master hours file and ensure the budget plan is executed accordingly.
- Monitors production plan and schedule as needed to ensure production goals are met on time.
- Ensures the timely availability of materials to support schedules, reviews work orders and materials, follows up purchase requisitions and coordinates with Supply Management as required.
- Reviews, updates and follows up weekly the shrink, labour cost and the cost per unit in all branches.
- Actively assists and participates in special projects as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree or post-secondary diploma in supply-chain or business with minimum 1 years’ work experience in warehouse operations, supply-chain management, production planning or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling required.
- Ability to build relationship with internal stakeholders.
- Very strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, able to identify issues, propose viable solutions, and implement appropriate changes.
- High attention to detail.
- Continually seeks process improvements and efficiencies; initiates new ideas to increase overall team effectiveness; committed to self-development and sharing best practices.
- Results-oriented and organized, focused on producing high quality work within tight timelines.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and high customer service focus.
- High energy team player, with a positive can-do attitude, flexible and adaptable to change.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Spanish an asset

**Work Environment**
- Office environment with regular desk duties with exposure to: sitting at length, computer usage requiring manual dexterity for typing and visual concentration on screens.

**Expected Hours of Work**
- 40 hours of work in a week.
- This is a 12 months Full Time Contract position with a possibility of extension of contract or conversion to a permanent full time role.
