**Job Duties**
- Prepare food for the events and banquets including preparation of hors d’oeuvres, soups, entrees, vegetables, sauces, gravies, etc.
- Ensure that all food remains eye-appealing and replenished throughout the service
- Assist with set up and tear down of service area; plate all courses as per menu
- Load and unload company vehicle with prepacked bins of equipment and food etc.
- Ensure that correct storage conditions for products such as meats, produce, and dairy are maintained
- Assist other cooks as required or extra duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 3 years industrial cooking and food service experience
- Ability to work independently and with a team, meet time targets, with strong organization skills
- Knowledge of equipment and materials to use / operate used in food preparation areas such as grills, ovens, deep fryers, slicers, steamers and knives
- Solid knowledge of catering service principals, processes, procedures, policies, directives and guidelines
- General physical wellness; ability to stand, lift, move etc. for long periods of time
- Reliable Transportation and valid Class G Driver’s License; a driver’s abstract will be required
- Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate
- Successful Police Check will be required

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
