**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality presentation.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and seasoning ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking utensils and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
**Skills**
- Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
- A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
