We currently have various exciting roles open, especially in the USA & Canada for professionals who are looking to grow with us **About this role**: We are looking for an Order Picker/Clamp Operator to join a Canadian retailer of furniture, mattresses, appliances and home electronics. **Responsibilities**: - Operate power and non-powered material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. - Other material handling equipment may be considered. - Loading and unloading trucks - Picking and put away of all product types - Maintaining a thorough knowledge of inventory/stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructions - Conduct all functions in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with all policies and procedures **Qualifications**: - Equipment operator experience on order picker is required. Experience on clamp truck is an asset. Other Material Handling Equipment experience will be considered. - Ability to prepare customer orders by operating material handling equipment to lift and carry product exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis (loading sofas, etc.); some manual lifting is required to adjust the loads. - Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques - Able to meet deadlines - Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends, as required - Ability to pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick **Shift Timings**: - Monday to Friday: 6:30am-3pm - Sunday to Thursday 10 pm-6:30 am - Saturday & Sunday 6:30am-5pm **Benefits** **_This is a temp to perm position, once you become permanent with our client you will be receiving the following benefit after the probationary period._** - Flexible “employer-paid” benefits including Health, Dental and Paramedical Services for you and your family - Competitive pay - Paid training - Career progression program - Access to free personal development training - Employee discounts & Personal "Paid" days off - Recognition, incentives, prizes and giveaways **Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Night shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Anjou, QC H1B 5Y3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Order Picker: 1 year (preferred) - Clamp Operator: 1 year (preferred) Shift availability: - Day Shift (preferred) - Night Shift (preferred) - Overnight Shift (preferred)
