Meta is an IT Consulting Company which has been in the market for 30 years. Meta is consistently choosing to help customers overcome their IT challenges. The company can provide consulting expertise to support IT strategy, software development, outsourced operations, staff augmentation, and SAP Projects.

**Description of Services**
This role is responsible for identifying, gathering, analyzing, specifying, and validating the business needs of end-users in a particular area of the business, and for IT projects or initiatives. These include interviewing stakeholders, capturing the “to-be” state, process improvements, and identifying the associated business requirements. These results convey to the Architecture, Change Management and Quality Assurance teams the breadth and nature of the end users’ needs and environment, thereby driving their solution design, change management and testing efforts.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- University graduation in Information Technology or a related discipline and 3-yr Application Analyst (AA) experience
- Performing build and deploy processes between multiple environments (Development, Acceptance, Production, etc.) in a Windows client server environment.
- Deep understanding of Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps Server for source code control.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices in Team Foundation Build/Azure Pipelines.
- Experience creating and maintaining batch scripts and utilities.

**LOCATION**:
Resource will work remotely, though must be available for onsite meetings when required. Standard Hours of work are 08:15 - 16:30 Alberta time. Work must be done from within Alberta, due to network and data security issues.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Application Analyst: 4 years (required)
- Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps Server: 3 years (required)
