**Job Description**:
The Continuous Improvement Specialist will strategically implement lean manufacturing to continually improve the production process. You will assist in production operations to drive efficiency improvement in manufacturing by utilizing continuous improvement techniques.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Recommend methods for improving worker’s efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
- Drive the standardization of processes and implementation of Lean metrics and best practices
- Contribute to the 5s initiative to ensure that improvements are sustained and entrenched within the business
- Demonstrate leadership by mentoring production staff and promote knowledge transfer between teams
- Develop a curriculum for Lean training and establish a structure in the business to improve the lean knowledge across the business
- Host Kaizen improvement events
- Ensure the factory layout, both at macro and micro levels, is suitable for an efficient manufacturing process
- Identify and implement new technologies, Capex justification, planning and implementation
- Provide world class manufacturing techniques to support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- Other duties as assigned
**Let’s Talk About You**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Engineering.
- 2-3 years’ experience as a Continuous Improvement Specialist in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Lean Green Belt designation would be highly desirable
- Apparel manufacturing experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English
- Strong capabilities in planning, organizing and process control.

- Must be proficient with computers and business software such as MS Office, and Excel.
