**Overview**

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your exceptional customer service skills will help enhance the overall experience for our guests, making each visit memorable. Must be available for weekday and weekend shifts.

**Duties**

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
  • Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
  • Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.

**Qualifications**

  • Previous experience in food service or as a barista is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
