Our high value, intuitive solutions eliminate compliance risk for our clients. The Product Analyst (PA) is a key contributor and conduit between our clients and our technology. The PA is responsible for communicating with multiple stakeholders and outlining business requirements for our technology team. More specifically, the PA will:

- Do whatever it takes to make your product and team successful whether that means writing a QA plan or hunting down the root cause of a user’s frustration
- Beyond just shipping new products, you obsess about continuous product improvement and can optimize for shipping a portfolio of small, medium and large releases
- Translate Product’s strategies and vision into actionable projects for InvestorCOM’s Development team (Dev)
- Collaborate with stakeholders about InvestorCOM’s technology platform and translate initiatives related to functional/technical requirements for the Dev team
- Break down Product projects into smaller, actionable chunks for Dev. Specifically, capture, analyze, and articulate business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and software documentation.
- Outline requirements that help Dev and other stakeholders understand the business value and purpose.
- Manage and prioritize the inventory of projects (i.e., backlog) and groom stories with Dev
- Ensure Product and Dev priorities supports Product roadmap
- Serve as liaison between Product and Dev by explaining the “why” and the “what”
- Be accessible to Dev and stakeholders to answer questions during development cycle
- Learn (fast) about technology, client, and regulatory trends in the wealth management industry
- Review potentially releasable features to ensure requirements are met
- Participate in Agile cadence such as Scrum stand-ups, backlog refinement sessions, as well as review & retrospective meetings

**About you**
- Natural curiosity about the wealth management industry, technology and how they intersect with regulatory expectations
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle & Agile development process
- Experience with communicating requirements in writing and keeping stakeholders in the loop
- Experience facilitating meetings, asking questions and soliciting feedback
- Able to adjust to evolving requirements and chances throughout the product lifecycle
- Able to work in an entrepreneurial environment, take initiative, and learn from decisions
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks at a time
- Entrepreneurial, energetic, and inquisitive in nature

**Location**

The role is based out of our Brantford, Ontario office with remote options due to COVID-19 and beyond. This role is only eligible for those who are legally entitled to work in Canada.
