**MARINE TECHNICIAN - Job Post** Belleville Sport & Lawn Belleville, ON , Permanent **Schedule**:8-hour day shift - Monday to Friday **Salary**:$25.00-$35.00 per hour Full Job Description **Position summary**: Perform all service and warranty repair and support a strong commitment to world class customer service ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. **Position responsibilities**: Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair all mechanical and electrical problems in a timely and efficient manner according to manufacturer specifications on respective boat, motors, trailers, ATVs, Jet skis, snowmobiles and willing to learn more. - Install all types of accessory items. - Assist customers by answering specific technical questions to help the customer understand the operation of the unit and the work to be done or work already completed. - Perform other duties, assignments and responsibilities as needed. - Ability to understand electrical systems and wiring - Ability to perform heavy lifting up to and in excess of 50 pounds - Ability to work both inside and outside - Ability to maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers - Provide own tools **Qualifications & Expectations Current** - AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) - Valid Driver's License - Personal Hand Tools - Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with accuracy and speed. - Manufacturer Certification (Boat or Engine) - Internal & external customer satisfaction. - Timeliness & quality of repair work. - Low percentage of "come backs" - Accuracy of work orders.
