Bindery Operator

You should be comfortable setting up and operating cutters, digital creasers, folders, laminators and book binding machines and perform basic bindery tasks. Some training will be available for specialized machinery but you should have a basic understanding of the process. This is partially a quality assurance role, so the ability to understand the parameters of each printing job and an eye for detail are essential.

Bindery Operator

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate commercial bindery equipment, including book binders, laminators, creasers, folders, and cutters
- Perform basic bindery tasks like padding, drilling, taping and other miscellaneous bindery related tasks
- Ensure production quality

Bindery Operator Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience operating commercial bindery equipment (preferred)
- Ability to read and understand production instructions
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Mechanical skills
- Attention to detail

**Salary**: $15.00-$25.65 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richmond Hill, ON L4B1H4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
