**Company Overview**:
Our client is an engineering company with operations spanning across Canada and the USA. As they continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager to join their team and manage the entire accounting process using QuickBooks.

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

** Permanent, GTA**
- **CA$75,000/yr - CA$ 85,000/yr**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
