- **JOB PROFILE**_
ACQBUILT is seeking a Production Assembler to join the team inside Plant A. As a member of the Production Department, The Production Assembler is accountable and responsible for the assembly of the following products: machine walls, windows/doors, manual walls, decks, and stairs. He/she under close supervision performs simple, routine, and repetitive tasks involving physical labor and is required to operate equipment as well as hand and power tools. The Production Assembler is responsible for the efficient assembly of products according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies. He/she is responsible for quality control in his/her area. The Production Assembler has a responsibility to ensure preventive maintenance, safety, 5S and that cleanliness standards are followed in his/her work area.
- **AUTHORITY**_
The Production Assembler is responsible and accountable to the Production Supervisor from whom (s)he receives his/her authority and overall direction.
- **CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**_
The Production Assembler is accountable for performing the following core responsibilities and duties:
- Assembly of window framing, door framing and stick framing walls.
- Installation of door, windows, poly, and insulation.
- Assembly of decks, balconies, and walkways.
- Assembly of stair stringers, winders, and landings.
- Operating production-based machinery upon completion of training.
- Maintain a high safety standard in the work place.
- Follow quality control procedures.
- Inform his/her team leader or supervisor about any issues that may negatively impact production.
- Ensure that the required materials and supplies are available.
- Participate actively in problem solving sessions, continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- **EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**_
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Post-secondary diploma or certification in carpentry or related field or working towards.
- Proficient in one segment/area of the assigned production line.
