In a phase of exciting growth we are looking to enrich our credit team with an **Accounts Receivable Associate.** This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a passion for financial accuracy and efficiency.

This is a full-time, permanent role, based in our head office in Lower Sackville, NS. You will report to the Credit Manager and be a key player in the credit department. This is an intermediate position with room for growth and training. The main focus will be processing payments on customers accounts, accurately and assisting with customer inquiries.. This position requires a professional who can combine excellent communication skills with a precise, analytical approach to financial and collections management.

**What will you be responsible for?**
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Record daily transactions
- Investigate and assist in resolving billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions
- Assist with regular customer account maintenance including system settings.
- Work with sales and customer service teams to address billing disputes and discrepancies.
- Familiar with and/or willing to learn, interpreting and processing credit reports, and granting credit to customers.
- Other duties as required.

**What are we looking for?**
- Qualifications_
- Business certificate and/or training in accounts receivable/collections preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in similar role described above.
- Skills_
- Great time management, analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Strong financial and business acumen matched with an ability to effectively communicate.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently but collaboratively.
- Desire to continuously improve and adapt to a changing environment.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and follow-up skills.
