We are looking for an experienced **Sheet Metal Estimator** for our client located in **Pickering, ON**. The company is in the business of Metal Production.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review and understand job specifications and drawings and follow through with the estimating process to develop competitive bids.
- Prepare customer RFQs to be estimated by gathering specifications, proposals, blueprints, and related documents as required. Reviewing RFQs for both deliverable and quality requirements.
- Identifies labour, time, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing requirements.
- Create and submit clear and full proposals to customers in a timely manner.
- Utilize internal ERP system to maintain cost structure.
- Manage multiple estimates at the same time.
- Communicate with customers to gather information, and clarify specifications, wording, etc.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong willingness and ability to learn and be challenged.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Works effectively in a team environment.

**Requirements**:

- Preference of 5-8 years in quoting and estimating.
- Preference of 3-5 years in the custom metal fabrication industry.
- Mechanical/engineering studies are required.
- Understanding of the required labor hours in custom metal fabrication.
- Good knowledge of welding, machining, sheet metal fabrication, polishing, and other inter-related trades.
- Any shop’s experience in custom metal fabrication is a plus.
- Experience with AutoCAD (Lantek is a plus).
- Effective communication skills.

**Location**: Pickering

**Pay**: $22 to $30 (depends upon the experience)

**Shift**: 3:30pm to 1:30am (Mon - Thru)
