**Overview**

The CLM would establish and nurture relationships with current and potential outside entities that Larga Baffin partners with or connects with as it provides services to its Client Base.

These would include but are not limited to:
Ottawa Police, OHSNI, Medical Travel, Queensview Terrace North Community Association; Britannia Community Association, Pinecrest-Queensview Community Association, TI, Inugatigit, Akausavik, Theresa Kavanaugh - Ward 7 Councillor,

**Major Responsibilities**
- Maintain Data Base of contacts
- Maintain relationships with outside entities:

- to advocate on behalf of Larga Baffin
- integrate Larga Baffin into the Community and find opportunities for Clients to participate in events
- network as a local business and neighbour
- Assist Managers with respective entities' partnerships in service delivery
- Collaborate with CSM on Client Events and Outings
- Attend functions with President and/or GM including Networking, Community Meetings, partnership meetings
- Attend Meetings with Orgs: Interagency Meeting Group,
- Key contact for entities as they support LB in various capacities ie: donations, Emergency Services partnerships

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Ability to make accurate observations and exercise independent judgment and action in a variety of situations (including emergencies)
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Inuktitut & English
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of Inuit Culture
- Must have the patience and maturity to tactfully and diplomatically interact with clients, visitors, and staff
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and Word as well as MS Mail
- Basic typing skills
- Basic accounting skills would be considered an asset
- Ability to prioritize and meet daily deadlines in a busy office environment
- Must possess above-average organizational skills
- First Aid/CPR training would be considered an asset
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training would be considered an asset
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Records check

**Minimum Job Requirements**
- A postsecondary degree or diploma is considered an asset
- Three years of experience in a management role and five years of experience in customer service or equivalent experience
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
- Project management experience is considered an asset
- Excellent Communication skills
- Solid account management and client service experience
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- Proven ability to solve complex and unique client service problems
- Ability to remain calm and poised in urgent situations
- Outstanding organizational abilities
- Must display strong work ethic, initiative and be a team player

**Priority will be given to qualified Nunavut Beneficiaries. Larga Baffin does not provide housing and is not responsible for relocation costs.**

**Larga Baffin requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 proof of vaccine is a mandatory condition of hire.
