**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages with precision and consistency
- Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer orders efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Handle food safety procedures, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Assist with food preparation and food service tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas following health standards
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including retail math and cashiering duties
- Support sales efforts by engaging with customers and promoting menu items
- Restock supplies and ensure the café is well-organized throughout shifts

**Experience**
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry background is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all necessary skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions
- Experience in food safety, food preparation, serving, and general food handling within a café or retail environment is beneficial
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
