**Position Description**:
**Here's What You¿ll Get To Do**:

- Contribute to cutting-edge findings in biology and health
- Develop data processing and reporting pipelines to manage and maintain data quality and provenance
- Work in a casual work environment where learning and development are keys to success
- Interact with other data scientists, bioinformaticians and scientists

**Here¿s What You¿ll Need**
**Essential requirements**:

- B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in python is essential.
- Experience with statistical tests and models in real data (preferably health related).
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to manage project demands and deadlines with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity and inclusion objectives.

**Assets**:

- Experience with deep learning for ultrasound imaging data.
- 2 or more years of experience in data exploration and/or modeling.
- Knowledge of biology.
- First author publications.
- Experience with software tools development.

**Employment Type**:

- 1-year contract (full time) with a possibility of extension.
- 35-hour work week
- Hybrid (Onsite and Remote) Work Model
