DS Consultants Ltd is a consulting engineering firm which specializes in geotechnical, environmental, materials inspection and testing hydro-geology. Our head office is located in Vaughan and have branch offices in Cambridge, Barrie/Collingwood and Scarborough. Our team currently consists of 60 highly qualified and experienced engineers, hydro-geologists, environmental scientists, technologists, and support staff. **Qualifications**:

- Ensuring appropriate turnaround time on all data entry
- Reviewing and entering data information into the appropriate databases
- General scanning, filling and archiving of request forms and other hard copy data
- Complying with security backups and regular checkups to ensure the safety of the data being stored
- Performing pre-analytical procedures
- Sorting, allocating, and delivering specimens to work stations and loading onto laboratory instruments, as required
- Receiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming specimens or solutions
- Maintaining good record-keeping practices while adhering to quality and safety programs
- Maintaining accuracy and calibration of laboratory testing equipment
- Performing routine inspections on laboratory equipment to determine when maintenance is required

**Responsibilities**:

- Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk
- Experience with MS Office and data programs
- Familiarity with administrative duties
- Experience using office equipment, like fax machine and scanner
- Typing speed and accuracy
- Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Attention to detail
- Confidentiality
- Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
- High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal, Fixed term contract
