Data Entry Associate (6-month contract)
to support our
Strategic Sourcing
team.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Associate to join our Strategic Sourcing Operations team. This role involves reviewing summary documents, identifying and extracting key data points, and accurately entering them into internal systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret summary documents to identify relevant data points.
  • Extract and validate numerical and textual information for system input.
  • Collaborate with sourcing team members to clarify ambiguous data.
  • Maintain documentation of data sources and entry decisions for audit purposes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
  • Experience using ERP for data entry and management.
  • Ability to navigate and manage cloud-based collaboration tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Teams.
  • Understanding of basic database concepts and experience with data import/export processes.
  • Experience with document management systems (e.g., SharePoint).
  • Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues related to data systems and escalate when needed.
  • Ability to interpret procurement or financial documents is a plus.

Education, Training, and Experience

Mandatory

  • Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, or another related field.
  • 1 to 2 years in data management or related field.
  • Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and data management systems.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience with CRM systems or ERP platforms.
  • Familiarity document management systems (e.g., Sharepoint, AdobeSign).
  • Experience in procurement, or finance, operations.
  • Familiarity with sourcing or contract documentation.
  • Certification in data analysis or document processing tools.

Travel

  • Ability to travel to Mohawk Medbuy offices if required.
