Are you passionate about creating unforgettable experiences through beautifully curated South Asian decor? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic South Asian Decor Attendant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our event setup team, you will play a crucial role in bringing our clients' visions to life and ensuring every detail of the decor aligns with the richness and tradition of South Asian events.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Decor Setup**:

- Execute the setup and arrangement of South Asian decor elements for various events, including weddings, receptions, and cultural celebrations.
- Ensure all decor components are placed accurately and aesthetically in accordance with client specifications.
- **Venue Transformation**:

- Collaborate with team members to transform event venues into stunning and culturally rich spaces that reflect the essence of South Asian traditions.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail to create visually appealing and cohesive decor setups.
- **Material Handling**:

- Safely handle and transport delicate decor items, fabrics, flowers, and other materials required for event setups.
- Ensure the proper storage and organization of decor inventory.
- **Client Interaction**:

- Work closely with clients and event planners to understand their vision and preferences for South Asian decor.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client requests or adjustments to the decor setup.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct thorough checks to ensure the quality and condition of all decor elements.
- Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during the setup process.
- **Timeline Management**:

- Adhere to event timelines and deadlines to ensure timely and efficient decor setup.
- Coordinate with event planners and other staff members to maintain a seamless workflow.
- **Cultural Sensitivity**:

- Demonstrate a deep understanding and appreciation for South Asian cultural aesthetics and traditions.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in South Asian event decor.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in event decor setup, particularly with a focus on South Asian themes.
- Strong understanding of South Asian cultural aesthetics, decor styles, and traditions.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry decor items and materials.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, based on event schedules.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

**Salary**: $16.00-$25.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:
