**Insurance Sales Associate** - Desjardins Agent Team Member**

***Position**: Proactive Sales Consultant**

**Base Salary + Commission + Bonuses**: Potential is uncapped

(Base Salary depending on experience and licensing $35000 to $45000)

**Licensing Requirements**: Must have or be willing to obtain General Insurance and Life Insurance licenses

***Role Overview**:
Join our team as a Proactive Sales Consultant, where you'll have the opportunity to grow and develop your career in insurance sales. This role is focused on engaging with the community to build business relationships, primarily in commercial and life insurance, with room for personal auto and property insurance sales as well.

***Key Responsibilities**:

- Actively prospect for new clients and opportunities in the community.
- Concentrate on selling commercial and life insurance products.
- Join and participate in at least 1 city networking group to enhance business relationships.
- Engage in community events and trade shows to promote the agency.
- Develop a strong presence on social media with guidance from the marketing team.
- Participate in weekly meetings to align with sales targets and goals.

***Compensation**:

- Commission based on sales performance.
- Bonuses in line with office and head office promotions.
- Benefits provided after a 6-month probation period.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

- Eager to obtain both a General Insurance License and a Life Insurance License.
