The Crump Group Inc. is a family-owned and operated premium pet treat manufacturer. Started in 2006, we have successfully established 3 market leading brands (Caledon Farms, Crumps Naturals AND Dog Delights) distributed throughout Canada and the United States. The Crump Group Inc., a large & rapidly growing pet food manufacturer based in Mississauga, Ontario and Nashville, North Carolina is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented **KAM for Costco and International Accounts.**
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Ability to navigate customer portals and prepare all documents necessary to run an effective and efficient business
- Follow-up on current leads as needed to build relationships and generate new business inquiries
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and opportunities.
- Assist in the development of presentations with prospective clients
- Provide a “client first” level of customer service in order to contribute to customer retention and market expansion
- Liason between R&D to ensure new product projects are running effectively
- Liason between all other departments (Marketing, production, finance, customer service).
- Meet business development objectives and weekly/monthly/yearly quotas for revenue/prospects
- Other duties as required
**Skills Required**:
- Strong track record working with a team
- Proven record in establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience submitting customer paperwork i.e. deal sheets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of the Canadian/US retail landscape.
- Knowledge of EU retail landscape a bonus.
- Knowledge of trade spend management an asset
- Knowledge of building promo calendars and other tools to help drive growth among current customers.
**Education & Experience**:
- Post-secondary diploma, degree, or equivalent
- 2 years work experience in a related sales position
