Sumas Environmental Services Inc. is an industrial company. We are looking to hire a general accounting administrator to join our accounting team at our head office in Burnaby. This position is not suitable for working remotely.

The administrator will assist our AP (accounts payable) and AR (accounts receivables) administrators. General tasks include helping our main AP and AR administrators with invoice reconciliation, filing, forwarding invoices to appropriate staff for approval/follow-up, helping with credit checks, payment follow-up and general assistance as the need arises.

Our accounting software is Sage 300.

It is a requirement of this job that you have up-to-date and strong computer skills.

After 3 months of full-time employment, you are eligible for enrolment in our Extended Health and Benefits plan.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays, 8 hours per day.

Previous work experience in a similar role required. References will be checked before an offer is made. Pay is commensurate with experience.

We will be looking to hire within the next 30 days.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
