**Landscape Construction Lead Hand**:

- Experience with irrigation, paver installations, landscape and hardscape installations, machine operating & other key aspects related to landscape contracting
- Knowledge of irrigation system and lighting including the ability to install and maintain systems
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Good listening, observation, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and takes pride in a job well done
- Enjoys working outdoors in all types of weather and wears personal protective equipment
- Construction of a wide variety of landscape structures such as retaining walls, pavers, paths, lighting, irrigation, etc.
- Operate various tools and equipment: skid steers, excavators, jackhammers, hedgers, saws, shovels, drills, etc.
- Work closely with a team and customer to ensure projects are completed to a high qualithy standard and in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness of job sites and equipment
- Moving and transporting building materials with shovels, wheelbarrows, machines, etc.
- Assist with site preparation and clean-up
- Snow removal during winter months

**Essential Skills and Requirements**
- Valid driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
- Fluent in English
- Minimun of 2-5 years experience in landscape construction (hardscape & paver installations)
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting and strenuous activity
- Steel-toed boots, rain gear
- Capable of taking direction and engage in two-way communication with supervisor and customers.

**Assets**
- Having access to your own vehicle
- Experience in operating truck and other construction related vehicles: skid steer, excavator.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
