Trainee Tire and Lube Technician

Jiffy Lube located at **626 Colborne St. E..**, is looking for eager and motivated people who want to learn new skills at this trainee position.

The Trainee Program is **8 weeks** and if you pass you can continue with Permanent employment as a Tire and Lube Technician.

**Wage Range - $16.75 to $18.75 per hour.**

**Must be available for shifts in a 7-day schedule.**

Here are the skills you will learn to become a Certified Technician at Jiffy lube earning **up to $18.75 per hour in a 6 month time frame.**

**Trainee 8 week Program you will learn**:

- Hood Technician - you will be competent at performing service checks under the hood of a vehicle as well as specific tasks to help with the lube, oil, and oil filter change.
- Tire Services - you will be competent operating a vehicle lift safely and perform Tire Rotations and Tire Swaps.

**If you pass the trainee program the following training takes place with incremental raises.**
- Lower Level - you will be competent performing service checks under the vehicle as well as specific tasks to help with the lube, oil, and filter change.
- Personal Service Advisor - you will be competent in the process of explaining the results of our inspection to the customer and inform them of the Manufacturers Recommendations on service requirements.
