We are looking for a **Junior Product Development Coordinator** in our New Product Development Department. If you are passionate, self-motivated and would like to work for a dynamic and leading company in the promotional items industry, we want to meet you

**Junior Product Development Coordinator Responsibilities**
- Assist in creating product specification sheets based on the design direction provided.
- Review product samples from factory and document discrepancies between samples and product specifications.
- Coordinate and track samples requests with factories.
- Assist in performing industry & market analysis and preparing presentation files.
- Enter new product information into the product database & update regularly.
- Coordinate decorating tests with the R&D team throughout the product development life cycle. Organize and update the product samples throughout this process.
- Coordinate internal sample requests with marketing, digital media & QC and distribute samples as needed.
- Communicate with supportive departments to ensure product information has been transmitted at key milestones throughout the product development process.
- Organize and maintain product sample room from A to Z.
- Reports to the director of product design & development for Ashbury bags.

**Qualifications**
- 1-2 years of experience in consumer-goods development (experience with bags preferred)
- Strong time management & organizational skills
- Strong English communication skills (written & oral)
- A team player, passionate, detail-oriented
- Basic knowledge of overseas manufacturing & production is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office, Photoshop & Illustrator experience is an asset
- Fabric experience would be considered an asset
