General Labour Full-time Afternoon Shift

Qualifications:
- Shift is Monday to Friday, 3:15pm-11:45pm plus overtime when necessary to fulfill customer orders.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes an asset, but we will train.
- WHMIS, HACCP and first aid training are an asset, but we will train.
- Experience with electronic inventory an asset, but we will train.
- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to work overtime.
- Work as part of a team, and alone.
- Experience with power equipment is an asset, but we will train.
- Lifting: up to 60 lbs. Egg crates, pallets, and other packaging materials.
- Ability to read English a must.
- Company benefits upon the successful completion of a three month probationary period.
**HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL**
- Work in compliance with divisional and legislative health, safety and environmental procedures
- Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods
- Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts
- Report defect in any equipment or protective device
- Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks
- Participate in all required health, safety and environmental training
- Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor
- Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
- Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct
Full time hours: 40 hours per week
**Salary**: $19.00 per hour
