The HFR project is Canada's largest infrastructure project in generations.

Are you ready to take on a stimulating and impactful challenge? Look no further: VIA HFR is looking for an Advisor, Real Property Consultations. We are seeking a versatile and motivated Advisor, Real property consultation well-versed in managing and coordinating relationships with external partners and organizations to support the activities of the Real Property team.

**The role**

The role includes active contributions to the development of the team’s strategies, processes and partnerships. In addition to managing external relationships, the Advisor will be responsible of supporting the communications with HFR’s stakeholders for the land acquisition strategy, the preparation of land and collaborative agreements and analyzing and reporting information.

As VIA HFR continues to develop and establish the frameworks that will guide its deliverables and relationships with partner organizations, the Advisor’s responsibilities are set to evolve as the project reaches new levels of maturity.

**The responsibilities**
- Supporting other Planning and land acquisition directorates (urban integration; land acquisition, etc.).
- Collaborating with team members to develop strategies, processes, partnerships and land agreements.
- Interfacing with the Communications and Partnership team, for the coordination of communications plans and tools as well as with the organization Technical team.
- Coordinating information-sharing and controls with external partners related to land matters, monitoring mechanisms for land acquisition activities and progress.
- Preparing progress reports, technical documentation, and presentations for project stakeholders, including internal, external and regulatory authorities.
- Conducting any other work in support of the Planning and Land Acquisitions mandate.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.

**The requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, real estate, urban planning, political science, communication, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with managing stakeholders or external partners relationships for complex projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously to meet deliverable deadlines, in accordance with project goals and objectives.
- Proven capacity in the drafting and presentation of strategic and administrative reports.
- Being fluent in both Canadian official languages is a plus.
- Experience working in the public sector or in relation with public agencies is a plus.
- Urban integration or planning, Communication, managing real property transactions are an asset.
