**Group Marketing Specialist**
Part of a dynamic, strategic and impactful team, the Group Marketing Specialist will help convey our value proposition and innovative digital solutions to key audiences. The Group Marketing Specialist supports all marketing activities, including sales and & communication materials/activities, webinar administration, data gathering and analysis, digital & social marketing and management reporting/dashboards for Group Marketing initiatives. The Group Marketing Specialist will support the marketing team and be the main point of contact for day-to-day requests, and will provide administrative support to the Product and Marketing team.
**Impact Statement**- Support marketing, product and communications initiatives-
- Help create (writing, designing) high impact communications to support a variety of marketing initiatives, products and services-
- Manage the library of materials, ensuring that communication and marketing collateral is accurate, up to date and meets corporate brand guidelines - annual review required.-
- Manage and support marketing compliance using Workfront and other tools - ensure requisite approvals are obtained and logged-
- Support on-going communications with the sales team, producers, Head Office employees and suppliers regarding marketing events/activities Gather, analyse and interpret data, producing reports, dashboards or other KPIs to assist in data driven decisioning and planning**Responsibilities include**- Support distribution partners and account executives through webinars and the issuance of continuing education certificates-
- Manage and own the production process of all marketing materials including compliance review and approval, design, translation, workflow management and logging of approvals.-
- Assist with event planning and preparation of distribution partner and internal webinars, seminars, client events and annual conferences-
- Create and manage online content for Group Marketing on corporate and secure websites and ensure content reflects best practices for effective online communication-
- Work closely with Corporate Communications team to ensure marketing material design and messaging complies with Brand Guidelines-
- Ensure existing communication materials are maintained, reviewed and kept current-
- Identify improvements to processes; provide input into and implement improvement plans- Gather and perform analysis, competitive intelligence and other sources of data to provide insights-
- Perform marketing administrative support to the team - i.e. tracking of content updates, issuance of CE certificates, invoice processing**Knowledge / Experience / Certification**- 2+ years of Marketing experience within the financial/insurance services industry-
- Experience as a writer/ability to write effective copy for B2B and B2C audiences-
- Experience building and managing marketing/communications campaigns Excellent presentation skills; ability to create polished decks-
- Analytical - quantitative/qualitative skills, able to gather data and tell a story in dashboards, management information presentations etc.-
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset**Education / Professional Courses**- Completion of post secondary education with courses in communications, marketing, journalism and graphic design an asset**Key Skills**- Clear and concise business writing, editing, proof-reading-
