This iconic and emblematic hotel in Montreal was completely renovated in 2021, with 36 floors, 614 rooms, 13 suites, 25 meeting rooms and can accommodate up to 1000 customers. Reporting to the front desk supervisors, the Receptionist takes room reservations, greets clients upon arrival and during their stay provides information about the establishment and its services as well as tourist attractions, and receives payments from clients.
- Take reservations
- Coordinate arrivals and departures of clients
- Promote hotel products and services
- Collect payments for services rendered
- Answer various questions about establishment services, tourist attractions, and different regional activities
- Coordinate group arrivals and departures
- Direct incoming calls
- Handle customer complaints
- Perform any other customer service-related task
**Skills**:
- Posséder un diplôme d’études dans le domaine hôtelier
- Être parfaitement bilingue (anglais/français-parlé et écrit)
- Une expérience de travail pertinente d’au moins 2 ans au service à la clientèle en personne
- Être à l’aise à négocier avec les clients
- Avoir de bonnes habiletés en calcul ainsi qu’une aisance avec les chiffres
- Avoir de l’entregent et aimer travailler avec le public
- Être en mesure de communiquer avec les clients de façon claire et courtoise
- Apparence soignée et impeccable ainsi qu’une attitude positive et professionnelle
- Pouvoir travailler avec une caisse «float» et en être responsable
- Avoir une très grande disponibilité lorsqu’il s’agit des horaires
- Démontrer le sens des responsabilités
- Être en mesure de travailler en équipe tout en étant autonome
- Disponible au minimum 3 jours par semaine, et les weekends
