**Job Summary**

Donut Monster is a specialty donut producer that supplies fresh, from-scratch donuts in Hamilton and beyond. Our flagship retail location at 246 Locke Street South opened this week, and we are looking to fill a new position immediately. We are looking for talented, attentive bakers with a passion for scratch made donuts and quality food to join our bakery team.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Responsibilities**:
Scale, mix, and process dough and batter from scratch with high attention to detail

Roll, cut, and shape donuts consistently

Fry donuts with accuracy and precision

Follow existing recipes for doughs, batters, glazes and garnishes with accuracy, and adjust as needed to take advantage of seasonal ingredients.

Keep a clean, tidy and organized workspace Adhere to quality and cleanliness standards Report to Bakery Manager and Shift Lead Bakers

**Qualifications and Skills**

Qualifications:
Passionate about from-scratch baking (we don’t do shortcuts).

Experienced in working with risen doughs in fast-paced environments.

Detail oriented while working within tight deadlines and able to effectively problem solve on the fly.

Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic and integrity.

Have a positive attitude and work well as part of a team.

Excited about working for, and growing with, a small Hamilton business.

Food Handler’s Certificate is an asset.

Able to lift 50 pounds

This position has varying shifts, typical shift hours are from3am until 11 am

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $19.10 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 44 per week
