**Law Clerk - Accident Benefits**
**Downtown Toronto**

Our client, a well known and friendly law firm located in the core of downtown Toronto is in need of an AB Law Clerk. This is a full time permanent position.

**Hybrid Work Available**

The successful applicant must have Insurance Defence experience.

The role of an Accident Benefits Law Clerk consists of the following:

- Reviewing and summarizing medical documentation and other file contents;
- Follow up on productions;
- Briefing file materials;
- Drafting FSCO submissions;
- Assisting with FSCO Arbitrations and Motions;
- Drafting LAT responses and submissions;
- Direct communication with various counsel and clients;
- Overall file maintenance;
Qualifications:

- 2+ years of direct, relevant and practical experience in Accident Benefit Claims in an insurance defence practice;
- Proficient with SABS, LAT
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining superb organizational skills
- Ability to deal effectively and pleasantly at all times with colleagues, clients and 3rd parties
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
