Starting in 2001, Durham Pallet Services is a fast pace environment and a forever growing business that sorts, repair and builds new pallets for major and minor companies across Ontario. Any of the pallets issued from our dock doors can be shipped to anywhere within Ontario. Our goal is to help other companies succeed in being able to ship their products on a quality pallet that came from us.

DPS has also under gone massive undertaking recently to ensure staff are working in a safe environment, this includes **huge investments** into _ergonomically friendly equipment_

We are currently looking for people to join our team of 50+ staff members as a:
**Quality Auditor/Safety Compliance**

**Shift - Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm**

**Quality Auditor/Safety Compliance Job Summary**:
Major/Key Accountabilities:

- In charge of H&S policies, compliances and enforcement
- Quality inspection and reporting (daily)
- Communicating with warehouse Leads/Management
- Responsible for annual training (ROT, First Aid, Forklift) co-ordination
- Responsible for co-ordination of annual warehouse safety standards
- Regular pm’s co-ordination as required (FL, etc.)
- Pallet quality auditing as required daily
- Conduct random safety checks of staff and equipment
- On-boarding new staff
- Arranging monthly H&S topics to communicate with the staff Conduct appropriate investigations as needed
- Enforce relatable policies
- Address safety concerns as required/needed
- Lock out/tag out (when needed)

Qualifications:

- Strong H&S background
- Staff training experience is an asset
- Leadership experience
- FL experience (an assest)
- Work with mínimal supervision
- Bilingual in English/French an asset
- Experience with accident investigations

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
