15 Wing, headquartered in Moose Jaw, is the centre of RCAF aircrew training and is comprised of 2 Canadian Forces Flying Training School (CFFTS) and 431 Air Demonstration Squadron (CF Snowbirds) both located in Moose Jaw, SK. The Wing is the principal site of the NATO Flying Training in Canada (NFTC). 15 Wing is responsible for three different aircraft platforms that include: CT-156 Harvard II, CT-155 Hawk, CT-114 Tutor, and any visiting aircraft.

You will be part of a team that works closely with the military customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality and efficient Air Traffic Management System maintenance, Aeronautical information services and VFR air traffic services to DND's NFTC program. Serco Canada Inc. is looking for an Quality Assurance Assistant in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

**Administrative Duties**
- Maintain inventory of safety and stationary supplies as required.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and information to staff regarding company and program rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Record official minutes of Quality and Safety meetings.
- Distribute/assign quality or safety work; and training as required to the relevant sections for completion.

**Quality Assurance Assistant Duties**
- Responsible for working closely with the Project Manager, Quality Assurance Advisor, Health Safety and Environment Advisor, site supervisors, and employees to ensure compliance with all ISO 9001:2015 and Safety protocols.
- Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management, and the Health, Safety and Environment programs, policies, and procedures.
- Accurately maintain all documentation required by the Quality Management Program in a timely manner.
- Follow all guidelines in accordance with legislative, company and customer requirements.
- Visually Inspect, verify, and report compliance with assigned deliverables regarding the Snow and Ice Control program.
- Ensure all personnel are aware and performing in accordance with the Quality Management and section Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform Internal Quality and Safety audits of all Serco divisions including subcontractor.
- Assist with injury claims, accident and property damage investigations, and related documentation.
- Assist with the coordination of contractors at the job sites and shops.
- Assist supervisors with the Quality Management System.
- Assist new staff with onboarding orientation briefings and documentation.
- Ensure the documentation and quarantine of any faulty materials.
- Evaluate and issue Confined Space Permits in accordance with the customer requirements.
- Work closely with the Quality Advisor and site Supervisors to ensure high-quality completion of projects as specified in the Site Maintenance Agreement.
- Complete a multitude of reports and submissions to Government Agencies, third party auditors and customer requests.
- File and sign off on documentation as required.
- Ensure safe storage and verification of all projects related documentation, both paper documents and electronic files.
- Strong attention to detail and prioritizing tasks.
- Able to present information and training to large groups of people.
- Ability to always work professionally with Customer Quality and Safety representatives.
- Excellent organization, verbal, and writing skills in English.
- Current or ability to attain a First Aid/CPR certificate.
- Proficient in the use of the full Microsoft Suite including Teams.
- Capable of demonstrating worksite mobility including but not limited to standing, walking, and lifting light loads.
- Respond to telephone, in person or electronic enquiries or forward to appropriate person.
- Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing.
- Maintain and prepare reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists and databases.
- Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying.
- Able to work with a diversified, inclusion-based workforce.

Qualifications:
**Education/Certifications**:

- Grade 12 minimum required.
- College or online Certificate or diploma in Internal Quality Auditing desired.
- Working knowledge and experience with the ISO Standard 9001:2015
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
