d3h manages 13 hotels in Saskatchewan and Alberta under the brands of Days Inn and Home Hotels (our own in-house created brand). **Responsibilities**
- Taking ownership of key ongoing or one-time tasks as they relate to company success.
- Build great relationships with general managers and provide leadership and guidance to maintenance technicians regarding maintenance inspections, issues, and repairs.
- Collaborate with Operations department to implement purchasing and inventory control policies and procedures and oversee Preventative Maintenance Program for all properties.
- Ensure all facilities are up to code and compliant with any relevant legislation.
- Prepare monthly progress reports and communicate critical issues and risks to Operations department.
- Direct the implementation of maintenance plans and repairs with consideration of operational and budgetary constraints.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and chlorinated pool systems. Aid in diagnosing issues on these systems and coordinating solutions with hotel or third-party company as required.
- Manage contracts and relationships with third-party vendors.
- Coordinate and manage routine inspections such as fire systems, elevator, etc.
- Assist in Cap-Ex future planning including identify, cost and planning, in consultation with Operations department.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
- Perform minor repairs on windows, doors, switches, desks, tables, plugs, equipment, appliances, sinks, toilets, blinds, etc.
